snails friend or foe
Rabbit snails
rabbit snails definitely friend, they eat most of the debris from the bottom of the aquarium and can also climb the sides of the aquarium but dont clean the algae. they are very intresting to watch remind me of a zombie if you look at a zombie dragging itself along the ground with one arm that the way these move they stretch out there foot and drag there big cone shaped shell along behind them i recommend having a sand substrate for three reasons they sometimes burrow although i have not seen this myself in my tank i have heard of it though, sand is much softer for there foot, also they make great tracks in the sand not like a shiny slime but a little trench. they are also great at eating decaying plant matter healthy plants are safe i keep mine in a planted aquarium no problems. also unless you have loads will not ove run your tank like others do they only have 1 baby at a time
